A Year in the Making, day 187

I have a mystery today. I have these stone beads. I know they are dyed, a brilliant shade of purple. I do not know what the stone is under the dye! One of those strands I bought ages ago, that was sure I'd remember so I didn't write the name down on the little plastic bag. You know how that goes, yes?
