A Year in the Making, day 148

So I went through and counted, and as of today, I'm at 206 items! That counts my cooking projects posted here, but doesn't actually count most of my digital photography that I've posted. So I'm a bit ahead of the game, what?

I was chatting with a friend a couple of nights ago about creating and being inspired, and I had a bit of a realization, that I neglect bracelets. I used to wear them regularly but have gotten out of the habit in recent years. It's time I remedied that. So expect to be seeing more of this kind of thing in the next few weeks:

Smokey and Clear Quartz Bracelet

I also listed this brass piece I made some time ago tonight:

Vintage Filigree Brass Charm and Chain w/Strawberry Glass Y-Necklace

I'd made a matching bracelet originally, but I think instead I'm going to work in a few more beads to offset the lack of chain which kept me from doing a necklace originally. We'll see how different the two variations turn out.

Oh, and that friend I mentioned earlier? She makes amazing jewelry with bone bits, metal clay, and other fun materials. I've got one of her pieces, a fox pendant that I strung with pearls, that I adore:

Happy Fox with Pearls

Her Etsy shop is Kind of Strange (on vacation at the moment, but check back!), and you can check out her recent creations in her blog.
